Film: Quigley Down Under (1990)

DVD: Enhanced 16x9
Quigley Down Under

"No man knocks me out of my own house."

Review: This movie is a excellent western, an Australian western. Tom Selleck is good as the American who travels to Australia to answer an ad for an expert long-distance sharpshooter. A hero is only as good as his villain which means Alan Rickman elevates Tom Selleck's character as well as the plot with his usual excellent work. The movie has nice pacing and excellent location photography.

"Think I'll ever get to be as fast as you?"
"What, you mean if you practiced a lot... No."

3 1/2 out of 4 Stars
