Film: Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)

DVD: Enhanced 16x9
Planes, Trains and Automobiles

"Why did you kiss my ear?"
"Why are you holding my hand?"
"Where is your other hand?"
"Between two pillows..."
"Those AREN'T PILLOWS!"

Review: The best road trip movie ever. John Hughes writes great road trip movies like "Vacation" and "Dutch" but this one is the best of the best. This is John Candy's best role in my opinion. It's amazing how this movie can go from belly laughs to sincere drama and do both so well.

Favorite Scene: Steve Martin thinking back about his recent journey on the elevated train in Chicago.

"You know... you know when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea: HAVE A POINT. It makes it so much more interesting for the listener!"

4 out of 4 Stars
