Film: The Tailor of Panama (2001)

DVD: Anamorphic
The Tailor of Panama

"Don't be a cunt, Harry, we're made for each other. You've got the debts, I've got the money. Where's your patriotism?"
"I had it out in prison, without an anesthetic."

Review: This is the perfect James Bond movie that isn't one. Jeffery Rush is great as the reformed con-man who is forced to play along with a slimy British Secret Agent to keep his past life secret from his wife and kid. Pierce Brosnan seems to relish playing the Anti-Bond and gives a great performance.

"It's dark and lonely work, Harry - like oral sex, but someone has to do it."

4 out of 4 Stars
