Film: Con Air (1997)

DVD: Enhanced 16x9
Con Air

"Oh, Stewardess? Stewardess? What's the in-flight movie today?"
"Well, I think you'll like it, Cyrus. It's called 'I'll Never Make Love to a Woman on the Beach Again', and it's preceded by the award-winning short, 'No More Steak For Me, Ever'."

Review: Nicholas Cage plays a Parolee who is being flown home on the same plane as a bunch of high profile criminals who are being transferred to a new Super Max prison. A who's who of great character actors fill out this movie and John Malkovich, who always plays a great villain, hijacks the plane from the guards. This is an excellent no-brainer action flick where everybody seems to be having a blast.

"Somehow they managed to get every creep and freak in the universe on this one plane. Then managed to let them take it over and stick us right smack in the middle."

3 1/2 out of 4 Stars
