Film: The Karate Kid (1984)

DVD: Anamorphic
The Karate Kid

"Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything."
"Ever catch one?"
"Not yet."

Review: The original movie has not aged at all. It still is good today as when I watched it as a kid. Mr. Miyagi provides great humor to the story and the final crane kick in the tournament still brings chills. Parts 2 and 3 do not hold up so well. I remember laughing alot at cheesy parts several times watching them again.

"This is a karate dojo, not a knitting class. You don't come into my dojo, drop a challenge and leave, old man. Now you get your boy on the mat, or you and I will have a major problem."

4 out of 4 Stars
