Film: Star Wars (1977)

DVD: Anamorphic
Star Wars, Episode IV- A New Hope (Widescreen Edition)

"I'm Luke Skywalker. I'm here to rescue you."
"You're who?"

Review: This is the earliest movie I remember seeing in the theater as a kid and it is my favorite Star Wars film based solely on pure fun and adventure. Obi-Wan's larger presence in this film also gives it a gravitas that separates it from most other sci-fi flicks.

Favorite Scene: When Luke and Han Solo are shooting Tie Fighters in the Millennium Falcon's gun turrets

"Mos Eisley spaceport: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."

"Look, Your Worshipfulness, let's get one thing straight. I take orders from just one person: me."

4 out of 4 Stars
